SERVING JESUS
Someone
asked Mother Theresa, "How did God call you to serve the poor?”
She replied
by saying, “I was not called to serve the poor, rather I was called to serve Jesus
and he led me here.”

THE OFFENSE OF THE CROSS
The Church confronts the world with a message the world

FOLLOWIING JESUS
"We have a tendency to forget that a person is not only committed to
Jesus Christ for salvation, but is also committed, responsible and
accountable to Jesus Christ’s view of God, the world, and of sin and the
devil." - Oswald Chambers

REMEMBER AND WAIT
The past and the future. Memory and expectation. Remember and hope.
Remember and wait. Wait for him whose face we all of us know because
somewhere in the past we have faintly seen it, whose life we all of us
thirst for because somewhere in the past we have seen it lived, have
maybe even had moments of living it ourselves. Remember him who himself
remembers us as he promised to remember the thief who died beside him.
To have faith is to remember and wait, and to wait in hope is to have
what we hope for already begin to come true in us through our hoping.
Praise him.

THE REALITY OF THE RESURRECTION
We are not asked to believe the doctrine of the Resurrection. We are asked to meet this person raised from the dead. – Lloyd Olgilvie
